ACiQ's EZ Connect mini split systems are designed to give you intelligent technology and superior comfort, all at a reasonable cost. This ACIQ mini split heat pump air conditioner is a single zone, self-install type, perfect for the handy homeowner. 24,000 BTU (2 ton) is good for 1,000 square feet in most climates. EnergyStar certified, with 20 SEER, ACIQ gives you unbeatable performance in this category.

What is EZ Connect?

EZ Connect (aka self-install) means that the air handlers line sets and condenser are all pre-charged with refrigerant. The pre-charged lines have tiny valves at each end that open when tightened with a pair of wrenches. This eliminates the refrigerant handling steps usually reserved for a professional, allowing anyone to self-install.

Is ACiQ better than Mitsubishi?

Mitsubishi makes great equipment, certainly. They were first to sell mini splits in the US, and they have a solid reputation. Yet ACiQ has higher SEER ratings, longer warranty, and extreme weather performance all the way down to -22! You can spend more on a mini split, but you can't get better value.

What if I only need twelve feet of line?

If you only need 12 feet of line, you can "soft coil" the remaining line to the length you need. you have any further questions, please call us and we will be happy to assist you.

A couple questions about the ACIQ 24,000 BTU 20 seer mini-split.

Thank you for your question. To install this unit you will not need a torque wrench. While the Nylog is not required, it would be a good idea to have on hand. The wall mount bracket, which does not come with the unit but can be additionally purchased as an accessory, comes with the required bolts as well as anti vibration washers. The system includes a wall sleeve for running the line sets through the wall. But line set covers are not included in the system. They can however be purchased additionally as an accessory for this system. The accessories for this system are found on the product page below the add to cart section. Can I get a 16 foot line set instead of the 25 foot pre-charged?

Thank you for your question. The included 25' line set is the only available pre-charged line-set length for the ACiQ EZ Connect mini split systems. However, the extra length of line set can be gently coiled up. When coiling the line set, just be careful to not kink the copper. For more assistance, please give us a call.
