The carbon wrap adsorbs VOCs, gases and odors, so this is the version to get if your air problem includes smoke, fumes, cooking smells or off-gassing from new furniture and flooring rather than allergens alone.

It's rated for up to five years under normal residential use and carries a five year pro-rated warranty. Made specifically for the "it" personal purifier, so it doesn't interchange with standard or junior size Austin Air filters. Installation takes seconds with no tools. Black is the usual match for darker colored units.
