Austin Air HealthMate Plus Filter - White (FR450B)

Genuine replacement filter for the Austin Air HealthMate Plus®, in white. Four stages of filtration in one cartridge, sized to fit any standard size Austin Air unit.

The HealthMate Plus is the model built for chemical and gas problems. It goes after a wide range of gases, chemicals, VOCs and formaldehyde, which makes it a strong choice if you deal with wildfire smoke, live near a busy highway, or notice odors and fumes you can't trace. Particles are handled by medical grade HEPA that removes 99.97% at 0.3 microns and 99% at 0.1 microns.

All standard size Austin Air units accept all standard size filters, so a standard HealthMate® owner can step up to HealthMate Plus performance by swapping in this filter. In a typical home it runs up to five years before it needs changing.

Product Features:

• Stage 1 - Large Particle Pre-filter: Catches the debris you can see, like dust, hair and pet dander.
• Stage 2 - Medium Particle Pre-filter: Catches small and medium particles such as pollen and mold spores. Supplied in gray, blue or green.
• Stage 3 - Activated Carbon, Zeolite and Potassium Iodide Carbon: More than 780 cubic inches of blended media to remove VOCs, formaldehyde, benzene, chemicals, gases and odors.
• Stage 4 - True Medical Grade HEPA: 60 sq. ft. of HEPA media removing 99.97% of particles at 0.3 microns and 99% at 0.1 microns.
