Warranty Information
The Big Ass Fans Bandit Portable Fan is backed by a dependable manufacturer's warranty to give you peace of mind with your purchase. The main fan unit is protected by a 5-year warranty, ensuring long-term reliability and high-velocity performance. In addition, any standard accessories accompanying the fan are covered by a 1-year warranty. Please note that warranty coverage applies strictly to new units and does not extend to refurbished products.
The warranty period begins either 15 days after shipment of the product or on the date of initial deployment (not to exceed 60 days from the original shipment date), whichever occurs later. To obtain warranty service, customers must present valid documentation verifying both the receipt and deployment dates of the product.
Coverage Conditions
- Defects in materials and workmanship that affect proper mechanical, electrical, or structural operation under normal use and maintenance are covered.
- The product must be operated and maintained in strict accordance with Big Ass Fans’ official instructions and relevant electrical standards.
- As a portable unit, this warranty remains valid if the fan is moved or utilized across different locations, provided it is operated within its designated environmental and design limitations.
- The fan must be purchased directly from Big Ass Fans or an authorized Big Ass Fans dealer. Under no circumstances will coverage extend to units purchased through unauthorized third-party internet auction or retail sites.
Exclusive Remedies and Limitations
Under this warranty, the sole remedies available at Big Ass Fans’ discretion are the repair or replacement of affected components, a full product replacement, or a refund of the price paid for the product alone. Except where explicitly required by law, Big Ass Fans is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages.
- Incidental damages include, but are not limited to, loss of time, local commercial inconveniences, and loss of use.
- Consequential damages include, but are not limited to, the cost of repairing or replacing other property or structures damaged as a result of a product malfunction.
