Customer Questions
Are insulated jackets for gas grill and griddle needed for use with granite counter top?
Hello, yes an insulated jacket would still be required as the jacket serves a larger purpose than protecting countertops. It is an extra barrier between the built in grill and any combustibles. Outside of the common combustibles (wood, PVC, etc..) an insulated jacket would still be needed for islands constructed of brick or stone if other combustibles are still within the clearance zone.
