Bosch manufactures multi-positional air handlers with an adaptable filter coupling system they call “Smartframe.” A Bosch Smartframe air handler provides enhanced stability and easier installation with its special mounting configurations for upflow, downflow, or horizontal flow. These include; foil-faced insulation on the inner walls, two-stage ECM Constant Torque fan motor for energy savings and humidity control, top-notch all-aluminum air coil, corrosion-resistant composite primary drain pan, secondary drain pan for flexible applications, and more.
Making installation easy is just one of the attributes of these impressive air handlers. Powerful blower motors create airflow that delivers comfort throughout the house. Ratings range from 1.5 tons all the way up to 5 tons. Air speed is monitored and automatically adjusted for both efficiency and comfort.
