  • Wall-Mounted - One of two different space-saving solutions, wall-mounted air handlers are designed to fit into tighter spaces in homes where a multi-positional air handler can't fit. In addition to being wall-mounted, they can also be stud-mounted or installed into recesses in a home. These are a popular choice for apartments and condos.
  • Ceiling-Mounted - The other space-saving solution, ceiling-mounted air handlers are compact air handlers made to fit into the ceiling of a building. These air handlers are usually referred to as "pancake" air handlers due to their flat construction compared to the other types. Ceiling-mounted air handlers are also a popular choice for apartments, condos, and other types of multi-tenant housing.

When picking out a Bosch air handler, make sure when you order to keep the tonnage of the air handler greater than that of the outside condenser for peak energy efficiency.
