Can the stove be vented horizontally?

This unit can only be vented from the top according to the instructions. Please refer to the Installation & Operation Manual for more information. If you have any further questions, please call us and we will be happy to assist you!

Will this stove work in a power outage?

Yes the Breckwell BH23DV Direct Vent Gas Stove will operate in a power outage. The blower requires electricity and would not work during a power outage. Please give us a call if we can help further. Thanks!
