Heavy-Duty Shutter-Mounted Exhaust Fan for Industrial, Commercial & Agricultural Ventilation
The Canarm AX Series Shutter-Mounted Exhaust Fan is a direct-drive wall exhaust fan designed for general ventilation in industrial, commercial, and agricultural applications. Its sturdy all-aluminum-extrusion housing and built-in louvers provide a durable ventilation solution, with the louvers automatically opening when the fan starts and closing when the fan stops.
The AX Series is available in single-speed, two-speed, and variable-speed configurations, depending on the model. The direct-drive design provides dependable exhaust performance, while variable-speed models use high-efficiency motors that can also be operated as single-speed motors.
Each AX Series fan features a totally enclosed motor with thermal overload protection. The motor is mounted on a heavy-gauge welded steel rod motor mount with a bright zinc finish. Fans 30 inches and larger also feature powder-coated guards for added protection.
Installation is designed to be straightforward. A properly prepared wall opening should be provided for the selected fan, and the unit is secured using four mounting holes, one at each corner. AX Series fans are shipped fully assembled and are tested for proper operation before leaving the factory.

Warranty Information
CANARM Ltd. provides a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, CANARM Ltd. may, at its option, repair or replace any unit or part returned freight prepaid and found to be defective.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser-user. It does not cover labor or transportation costs associated with removing or reinstalling the unit. Warranty coverage is void in cases of alteration, accident, abuse, neglect, or operation not in accordance with the instructions. Repaired or replaced components are covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period.

Fan Controller Options
Controller requirements vary by Canarm AX Series model and motor configuration. Use the information below to identify the compatible controller for your selected fan.
- TS-15: Manual two-speed control for compatible AX Series fans. Sold separately.
- MC-3 / MC-5 / MC-5-230: Manual variable-speed controls for compatible AX Series fans. Sold separately.
- No Controller: Certain AX Series models do not require a separate fan controller, depending on the motor configuration.
Important: Controller compatibility varies by model. Please refer to the specifications for your selected AX Series fan to determine the appropriate controller.
