Canarm XFS Series Wall Exhaust Shutter Fans for Commercial Ventilation
The Canarm XFS Series Wall Exhaust Fan is designed to provide reliable exhaust ventilation for commercial applications. It features a rugged welded steel housing with a durable black powder-coated finish, aluminum exhaust shutters, and a direct-drive motor for dependable operation.
Available in sizes from 12 inches to 36 inches, the XFS Series offers single-, 2-, or 3-speed operation depending on the model. The fans include a 9-foot power cord with a grounded 115-volt, 3-prong plug, pull-chain control, and automatic shutters that open when the fan starts and close when it stops. All fans are shipped fully assembled.

What's Included
Each Canarm XFS Series wall exhaust fan is shipped fully assembled and tested for proper operation before shipping. The fan features a direct-drive motor, fan blade, aluminum exhaust louvers, and an interior protective guard. A power cord with a grounded plug and pull-chain control are included.
Safety Features
- Secure Mounting: Install in a properly framed wall opening and secure using the four mounting holes provided.
- Electrical Safety: Use a grounded 115V outlet and follow the manufacturer's installation instructions.
- Power-Off Servicing: Disconnect power before installation, cleaning, or maintenance.
- Motor Protection: The motor has automatic overload protection and may restart without warning.
- Protective Guarding: Mount at least 2.5 meters above grade or provide suitable guarding against accidental blade contact.
- Routine Maintenance: Keep the motor, blade, and louvers clean. Check louver movement, mounting hardware, and blade set screws regularly.
- Cleaning Precaution: Do not pressure-wash the fan.
Warranty Information
CANARM Ltd. provides a 1-year standard warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. During the warranty period, CANARM Ltd. may, at its option, repair or replace defective products or parts, subject to the applicable warranty terms and conditions.
The warranty does not cover labor costs associated with repairs, removal, or reinstallation. Coverage may be void in cases of misuse, negligence, unauthorized repairs or alterations, or operation outside the manufacturer's recommended conditions. Repaired or replaced parts are covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period.
