The fan features a totally enclosed air-over motor with overload protection. Explosion-proof models are available in single-speed configurations, with motor voltage, phase, airflow capacity, and other specifications varying by model. What's Included
Each Canarm AX Series exhaust fan is shipped fully assembled and factory tested for proper operation. The unit includes the built-in automatic louvers and motor assembly as part of the complete fan.
Safety Features
- Secure Wall Mounting – Install the fan in a properly prepared wall opening using the four mounting holes provided.
- Qualified Electrical Installation – All electrical work should be performed by a qualified electrician.
- Power-Off Service – Disconnect power before wiring or servicing the fan.
- Thermal Overload Protection – Totally enclosed motors include thermal overload protection.
- Motor & Louver Maintenance – Keep the motor, blade, and louvers clean, and ensure the automatic louvers operate freely.
- Guarding – Guarding should be used when the fan is mounted lower than 7 feet (2 meters) above the floor or ground level.
Warranty Information
CANARM Ltd. provides a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, CANARM Ltd. may, at its option, repair or replace any unit or part returned freight prepaid and found to be defective.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser-user. It does not cover labor or transportation costs associated with removing or reinstalling the unit. Warranty coverage is void in cases of alteration, accident, abuse, neglect, or operation not in accordance with the instructions. Repaired or replaced components are covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period.

Fan Controller Options
Controller requirements vary by Canarm AX Series model and motor configuration. Use the information below to identify the compatible controller for your selected fan.
- TS-15: Manual two-speed control for compatible AX Series fans. Sold separately.
- MC-3 / MC-5 / MC-5-230: Manual variable-speed controls for compatible AX Series fans. Sold separately.
- No Controller: Certain AX Series models do not require a separate fan controller, depending on the motor configuration.
Important: Controller compatibility varies by model. Please refer to the specifications for your selected AX Series fan to determine the appropriate controller.
