The Canarm AX-EC Series Shutter-Mounted Exhaust Fan is a direct-drive wall exhaust fan designed for industrial, commercial, and agricultural ventilation. Featuring a high-efficiency electronically commutated (EC) motor, it provides variable-speed operation to adjust airflow to different ventilation requirements. Its heavy-duty all-aluminum-extrusion housing and automatic gravity-closing shutters deliver dependable performance for a variety of applications.

What's Included

Each Canarm AX Series exhaust fan is shipped fully assembled and factory tested for proper operation. The unit includes the built-in automatic louvers and motor assembly as part of the complete fan.

Safety Features

Secure Wall Mounting – Install the fan in a properly prepared wall opening using the four mounting holes provided.
Qualified Electrical Installation – All electrical work should be performed by a qualified electrician.
Power-Off Service – Disconnect power before wiring or servicing the fan.
Thermal Overload Protection – Totally enclosed motors include thermal overload protection.
Motor & Louver Maintenance – Keep the motor, blade, and louvers clean, and ensure the automatic louvers operate freely.
Guarding – Guarding should be used when the fan is mounted lower than 7 feet (2 meters) above the floor or ground level.

Warranty Information

CANARM Ltd. provides a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, CANARM Ltd. may, at its option, repair or replace any unit or part returned freight prepaid and found to be defective.

The warranty applies only to the original purchaser-user. It does not cover labor or transportation costs associated with removing or reinstalling the unit. Warranty coverage is void in cases of alteration, accident, abuse, neglect, or operation not in accordance with the instructions. Repaired or replaced components are covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period.

The CNEC-0-10V is a compatible controller for select Canarm AX Series variable-speed fans. Sold separately.

The motor is an enclosed, air-over (TEAO) design, built with thermal protection to prevent overheating and extend service life.
