Heavy-duty Material and Rugged Housing

Built for the toughest ventilation applications, the Canarm HV Series Belt Drive Wall Fans are engineered with heavy-duty commercial and industrial use in mind. The fan panel and housing are crafted from heavy-gauge steel, providing exceptional strength and durability. The intake features a deep-spun and flared venturi design to maximize airflow efficiency, while welded steel motor and bearing supports ensure long-term stability under continuous use. Additionally, the fan blades are made from galvanized heavy-gauge steel and are statically and dynamically balanced, minimizing vibration and noise while enhancing reliability. Standard TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) motors and cast-iron pillow-block bearings further reinforce the rugged construction, enabling these fans to perform day after day in demanding settings such as factories, warehouses, gymnasiums, and underground parking garages. The HV Series is built not just to perform, but to last.

Customer Questions
Can the fan be used outdoors or in hot and cold conditions?
Yes, it can be installed on exterior walls, but it’s best to make sure it has proper weather protection and the motor is safely wired for outdoor use.
Can I plug the fan into the same circuit as other equipment?
It’s better to give the fan its own circuit so it runs smoothly and doesn’t share power with other machines that might cause voltage drops.
What does “belt drive” mean, and why is it used in this fan?
Belt drive means the motor spins a belt that turns the fan blades. This setup makes the fan run quieter, last longer, and handle larger air volumes better than most direct-drive fans.
Do I need to worry about vibration when installing the fan?
A little vibration is normal for heavy-duty fans, but using rubber pads or flexible mounts will help reduce noise and protect your wall or structure.
Does this fan pull air out or push air in?
By default, it’s made to pull air out of a building, but some setups can reverse the airflow. Check your model details or ask before installing it for intake.
