Standard Wall-Mounted Shutter Exhaust Fan for Commercial, Industrial & Agricultural Ventilation
The Canarm SD Series Standard Wall Exhaust Fan is designed to provide dependable ventilation for a variety of commercial, industrial, and agricultural applications. It features durable steel construction, a powder-coated finish, aluminum louver shutters, and protective guards. Fans are shipped fully assembled.
Available in multiple sizes and configurations, the SD Series offers different motor speeds and electrical specifications depending on the model. The 8-inch and 10-inch models feature two-speed operation, a totally enclosed external-rotor motor with sealed ball bearings, pull-chain speed control, and a 9-foot cord with a 115V three-prong plug. Models from 12 inches to 48 inches feature totally enclosed, thermally protected motors, with single-, two-, and variable-speed options available. Variable-speed models use an energy-efficient, dual-voltage motor and blade combination.

What's Included
Each Canarm SD Series exhaust fan is shipped fully assembled and tested for proper operation before shipping. The complete fan includes the motor assembly and exhaust louvers, which open automatically when the fan starts and close when it stops.

- Secure Wall Mounting – Install the fan in a properly prepared wall opening using the four mounting holes provided.
- Qualified Electrical Installation – All electrical work must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable electrical codes.

Warranty Information
CANARM Ltd. provides a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. At its option, CANARM Ltd. will repair or replace any product or part found to be defective, subject to the applicable warranty terms and return procedures.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser-user. It does not cover labor or transportation costs associated with removing or reinstalling the unit. Warranty coverage is void in cases of alteration, accident, abuse, neglect, or operation not in accordance with the instructions. Repaired or replaced items are covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period.

Fan Controller Options
Controller requirements vary by Canarm SD Series model and motor configuration. Choose a compatible controller based on the fan's speed and electrical specifications.
- TS15: Manual two-speed control for compatible two-speed SD Series fans. Sold separately.
- MC-5: Manual variable-speed control for compatible variable-speed SD Series fans. Not for use with single-speed motors. Sold separately.

- Just what I neededIt took me a few weeks searching ( when I could ) for an exhaust fan compact enough to fit between my basement 1st floor joists. This 8" diameter fan was just what I needed. Installation was straightforward. It's very quiet, powerful, and there's no vibration.

- 42” exhaust fan works greatI bought the 42” Canarm exhaust fan for my 50 x 60 x 16’ shop. This ventilates the shop perfectly. The fan removes fumes, cools it down and provides a good breeze. You can hold a normal conversation while it’s on. It’s a little more noticeable than a 50” barrel fan but moves 4 times more air. I usually open one 14’ garage door on the opposite end of the shop 18” to 24” and there’s a breeze 12 to 15 mph coming in, enough to blow dust across the floor. For winter when it’s rarely used, I made a housing on the interior of the shop with an insulated insert to keep the cold air out. Wind blown rain will slightly get through the louvers of the fan if it is off so I drilled a couple of holes in the lowest spots for it to drain. Overall it’s a great fan and I would buy another.
