The electric cooling system provides 4-ton nominal cooling capacity with a 13.4 SEER2 rating. The 48FE 04-06 models use single-stage cooling, providing dependable cooling operation for commercial applications while supporting efficient warm-weather performance.

Optional SystemVu™ integrated communicating controls and RTU-Open communicating controls are available for compatible applications. The platform also supports multiple static fan capabilities and optional comfort and ventilation accessories.

The Carrier WeatherMaker 48FE includes a standard limited warranty consisting of 10 years parts-only coverage for an aluminized heat exchanger, 15 years parts-only coverage for a stainless-steel heat exchanger, 5 years parts-only coverage for the compressor, 3 years for the SystemVu™ controller, and 1 year parts-only coverage on all other parts.
