The KSAIF0401AAA is a plug-in wi-fi adapter for Performance Series console, ducted, and cassette units. Whether you are across the world or across the living room, you will be able to control your ductless air conditioner or heat pump from your phone using the CliMate app and your home wi-fi network.
You can control your unit's mode and the auto, cooling, dry, heat, and fan modes are easily identifiable by the app's interface background color. You can increase energy efficiency by utilizing the 7 day programmable schedule and sleep mode planning features. Using the group control, you can control multiple single zone systems together, a subset of indoor units connected to a multi zone condenser, and even select one indoor unit as the master unit for mode control.
When using the KSAIF0401AAA, you can still use your wired control as a back up option and it is not necessary to remove it when upgrading your indoor unit to your wireless network. On new installations, the KSAIF0401AAA fulfils the requirement for a hardwired controller, so it is optional to install one of the KSACN controllers.
The CliMate app can connect to both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for voice control when used with your smartphone, Google Home Speaker or Amazon Echo.
