The Daikin BPMKS049A3U branch provider unit is a refrigerant manifold and is used to ensure optimal refrigerant flow to the connected indoor units, as well as provide a cleaner finish to the outdoor unit.
The BPMKS049A3U has ports for connections to 3 indoor units and can be connected directly to the condensing unit as the main branch box. It can also be branched with a one or two sets of refnet joints for support for up to 3 branch boxes for a total of 8 zones when using a RMXS48LVJU condensing unit.
