DuraVent DirectVent Pro is a coaxial (concentric- pipe within a pipe) venting system designed for use with direct vent natural gas or propane stoves, heaters, and fireplaces. The inner pipe exhausts the flue gases to the outside while the space between the inner and outer pipes brings in outside air that is used for the appliance's combustion. This allows most appliances the ability to vent both vertically and horizontally per the appliance manufacturer's instructions. Please review appliance's owner's manual will advise as to which type of DirectVent pipe is right for your appliance.
