The Fantech AEV80 brings a steady supply of fresh outdoor air into your home and pushes out the same amount of stale indoor air. It's built for 1-2 bedroom homes, condos, and apartments that need balanced ventilation without the cost or complexity of an HRV or ERV.

Unlike an HRV or ERV, the AEV80 has no heat or energy recovery core. Two factory-balanced fans with backward-curved blades move 82 CFM at 0.2" static pressure through four 5-inch side ports. It plugs into a standard 120V outlet and draws just 0.7 amps (88 watts).

The cabinet is powder-coated 22-gauge galvanized steel with 1-inch foam insulation to help prevent condensation. A washable MERV 8 filter keeps upkeep simple. Since there's no core, there's no defrost cycle to manage, and Fantech recommends the AEV80 for temperate climates.
