A mixed-flow centrifugal type exhaust/supply fan for moderate size ventilation applications specifically designed to bridge the transition from centrifugal to axial. FKD Series fans offer substantially quieter performance and are easier to install than axial arrangements. Fans can be mounted at any angle at any point along with the ductwork and straight-through airflow design allows easy installation. Fans can be easily removed from ductwork for service. Fan motors are capable of operating in airstream temperatures of 140o F. Motor bearings are a permanently sealed, self-lubricating ball type. All fans are 100% speed controllable through a decrease in the voltage by using a solid-state or transformer type control. All FKD Series fans are backed by Fantech’s Three Year Warranty.

Customer Questions
Can this fan be used for both supply and exhaust air?
Yes, the FKD fan can move air in either direction. It can be set up to pull air out or push air in, depending on how your duct system is designed. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. Thanks.
How often should I clean or inspect the fan?
It’s a good idea to check and clean the fan every six months. If you’re in a dusty or humid area, you may want to do it more often, about every three months, to keep it running smoothly.
Is this inline fan energy efficient?
Yes, it’s designed to deliver strong airflow while using less power. You can also adjust the fan speed, so it only uses as much energy as needed for your space.
Do the motor bearings need maintenance?
No, the bearings are permanently sealed and self-lubricating, so you don’t have to worry about greasing or maintaining them. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. Thanks.
Will the fan cause vibration or noise in my ducts or walls?
Vibration is minimal. The fan is carefully balanced and includes mounting brackets that help keep it steady and quiet during operation.
