The Fantech Rn2SL Slimline Radon Fan delivers reliable 159 CFM airflow for radon mitigation applications while maintaining a discreet exterior appearance. Designed specifically for Active Soil Depressurization (ASD) systems, the Rn2SL features a sleek, neutral-colored housing that blends naturally with many home exteriors.

Designed with installers in mind, the Rn2SL simplifies installation with included flexible connectors and a rear inlet connection that connects directly to the system pipe where it passes through the wall. This eliminates the need for a pipe elbow and helps conceal the wall penetration. The top-mounted discharge connects directly to the vertical pipe riser.

The Rn2SL features a factory-sealed, no-leak design and an integral condensate bypass for dependable operation. Its exterior-mount configuration keeps the fan close to the wall, while the included vibration-isolating connectors help isolate natural fan vibration from the system pipe and home structure, reducing structure-borne noise.

What's Included

Each Fantech Rn2SL Slimline Radon Fan package includes the radon fan, a flexible gray coupling with two stainless steel hose clamps for the discharge connection to 4" PVC pipe, a flexible sleeve coupling with a stainless steel hose clamp for the inlet connection to 4" PVC pipe, a wall bracket, and an operation and installation manual.

Safety Features

• Electrical Safety – Installation and wiring must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with applicable codes. Power must be switched off and locked before installation, servicing, or cleaning.
• Double-Insulated Construction – Reinforced polymer construction provides a double-insulated protective system, eliminating the need for a grounding conductor.
• Outdoor-Rated Design – Tested and reviewed by Underwriters Laboratories and deemed suitable for outdoor use under UL 507.
• Rotating Parts Protection – Guards must be installed when the fan is within reach of personnel or within 7 feet of the working level, or when otherwise deemed necessary for safety.
• Proper Installation – Designed for 4" Schedule 20 or Schedule 40 PVC pipe. The suction pipe should have a slight incline to drain water away from the fan, and the fan must not be connected directly to the building structure.
• Safe Application – For general ventilating use only. Do not use to exhaust hazardous or explosive materials or vapors, and do not use with a solid-state speed control device.

Warranty Information

Fantech provides a limited factory warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The Rn SL Slimline Radon Mitigation Fan is covered for 5 years from the applicable warranty period.

Coverage is subject to Fantech's warranty terms and conditions. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, wiring, maintenance, misuse, abuse, abnormal use, incorrect electrical voltage or current, unauthorized alterations, shipping damage, or use outside Fantech's recommended application.
