The Fantech SHR 1200 swaps stale indoor air for fresh outdoor air in equal amounts, so a building gets steady ventilation without pressure imbalances. It's built for spaces with a lot of people or odors to manage, including classrooms, offices, retail shops, clinics, hair salons, animal shelters, bars and restaurants, and larger homes.

Three aluminum heat exchanger cores move heat between the two airstreams, so incoming air arrives tempered and your HVAC system doesn't have to work as hard. Four blowers push up to 1,219 CFM at 0.4 in. w.g. on high speed, with medium and low settings for lighter loads. The unit runs on 120V single-phase power and draws 11.17 amps.

A 22 gauge galvanized steel cabinet with a baked powder coat finish holds everything together, and extra foam insulation on the outdoor air side helps stop condensation. You can reach the cores, filters, and drain pan from either side through hinged doors, and the blowers slide out on their motor plates. Below 23°F, an automatic defrost cycle shuts off the supply blower and runs the exhaust blower on high until the cores are clear.

• Service From Either Side: Hinged doors on the front and back open to the cores, filters, and drain pan, and cores slide out with 15" of clearance.
• Adaptable Ducting Layout: Side ports with the outdoor ducts on the same side, plus a control panel that moves front to back to suit your layout.
• Mounting Options: Hang it from threaded rod (not included) or set it on a platform.

The SHR 1200 carries a 3-year limited warranty on motors and electrical components, plus a limited lifetime warranty on the aluminum heat recovery cores.
