The Fantech SHR 800 brings a steady supply of fresh outdoor air into a building while exhausting the same amount of stale indoor air. That balanced exchange keeps air from getting stuffy, helps control moisture and odors, and makes it a strong choice for indoor pools, ballrooms, meeting spaces, offices, and other commercial or institutional buildings where good ventilation matters.

Inside, two aluminum heat exchanger cores transfer heat between the outgoing and incoming airstreams, so fresh air enters already tempered and your HVAC system has less work to do. The unit moves up to 795 CFM and delivers 57% sensible effectiveness at 690 CFM in 35°F heating conditions. It runs on 120V single-phase power with a 5.3 amp total draw.

The cabinet is 22 gauge galvanized steel with a baked powder coat finish and full insulation, including extra foam on the outdoor air side to prevent condensation. Hinged panels on both sides give you quick access to the cores, filters, and drain pan, and the blowers slide out for service. When outdoor temperatures drop below 23°F, a built-in defrost cycle shuts down the supply blower and runs the exhaust blower on high to clear frost from the cores.

• Insulated Steel Cabinet: 1" fiberglass insulation plus 2" of foil-faced foam on the outdoor air side helps control condensation.
• Easy Service Access: Hinged doors on both sides open to the cores, filters, and full-length drain pan, and the cores slide out with just 15" of clearance.
• Flexible Installation: Side ports with both outdoor ducts on the same side, a field-reversible layout, and the option to hang from threaded rod (not included) or set on a platform.
• Certified Performance: CSA listed, with an AHRI 1060 certified heat recovery core.

Fantech backs the SHR 800 with a 3-year limited warranty on motors and electrical components and a limited lifetime warranty on the aluminum heat recovery core.
