The Fujitsu 12LZAS ductless mini split system is a stylish and slim wall mounted air handler that fits perfect in any home or space. The Aesthetic, minimalist design delivers powerful cooling abilities while at the same time blending in to any room or with any decor.

Since ductless mini split systems have little to no ducting, they forego those energy losses typically associated central forced-air systems. Duct losses can easily account for more than 30% of energy consumption, especially if the ducts are not sealed tight or in an unconditioned space such as an attic or crawlspace. By getting a ductless mini split system you're not only getting a typically higher SEER rating, but you're also saving in energy loss.

What is "Dry Mode"?

Dry mode is function that allows your mini split to act as a dehumidifier and remove excess humidity from your home. This function is useful for when your home is at your preferred temperature but is still too humid. If you have any further questions, please call us and we will be happy to assist you.

Are they hyper heat

This particular system is not hyper heat. We do however sell the Fujitsu Hyper Heat systems and the matching item with hyper heat would be the 12LZAH1.

How to clean inside rollers

This unit has a removeable filter than can be removed and cleaned. We recommend cleaning out your filter once a month.

How many square feet does this cool?

Thank you for your question. As a general rule of thumb, 12,000 BTU will typically cool a space that is around 400 sq. ft. However, there are several factors that do affect this, such as the climate zone the space is in and how well it is insulated. Please reference our Sizing Guide. Air source- uses interior air? Gets air right outside of mounted area? Air comes all the way from compressor?

Thank you for your question. The mini split system works by circulating the air that is in your home. The air doesn't leave the space, but rather is heated or cooled to meet the zones specified thermostat setting. The air is heated or cooled by the refrigerant, which runs through the evaporator in the air handler as either a cold gas, or hot gas, which the indoor blower moves air over, therefore heating or cooling the air. Where do I find what blinking lights mean when not operational?

We would recommend reviewing the service manual. Section 3 of the service manual is dedicated to troubleshooting. This section features a chart that interprets the various error codes. This service manual can be found on this product page in the product specifications section. It will be in the row titled "resources".
