Smart Pump Control and Monitoring for Sump & Sewage Systems

The iON Genesis is a smart sensing pump controller and alarm designed to control and monitor one or two pumps in residential sump and sewage applications. Its solid-state digital sensing technology provides automatic pump control without moving parts or contact points, while supporting alternating and simultaneous pump operation.

The Genesis includes a primary digital level sensor and secondary high-water sensor for added monitoring and backup level control. An LCD display, LED indicators, and built-in 80 dB audible alarm provide convenient system status and alarm monitoring, while the adjustable pump turn-on level allows settings from 2.5 to 72 inches in 0.5-inch increments.

Flexible Pump Control

The Genesis provides plug-and-play pump outlets for direct connection of compatible pumps. Each outlet supports pumps up to 1/2 HP, with a maximum rating of 15 amps, 12 FLA, and 72 LRA. The controller operates on 120 VAC, 60 Hz power.

When configured for two pumps, the Genesis can alternate pump operation during normal conditions and operate both pumps simultaneously when required.

Digital Sensing & High-Water Protection

Solid-state sensing technology monitors water levels without mechanical float contacts. A dedicated digital level sensor provides primary pump control, while the secondary high-water sensor provides additional monitoring and backup level control functionality.

Display & Alarm Monitoring

The LCD screen and LED indicators provide convenient monitoring of pump, power, and alarm conditions. The built-in 80 dB audible alarm alerts users when an alarm condition occurs, while normally closed remote alarm contacts can connect to an external property security or monitoring system.

The controller also includes silence and reset functions, allowing users to manage alarms and test-run the pump or pumps without accessing the sump basin.

Installation & Construction

The Genesis features a NEMA-1 UL94V-0 ABS enclosure and a multi-point sealing mechanism designed to protect internal sensor components. Controller mounting dimensions are approximately 8.25 inches by 3.5 inches, and sensors are available with 10-foot cord.

The controller uses four #10 mounting screws, which are not included. Install the controller and connected equipment according to the manufacturer's instructions and applicable local electrical and plumbing codes.

The iON Genesis includes a 3-year warranty.
