The King Clear Air Make-Up Air Unit is an approved plenum-rated system engineered to replenish the air within your interior space, compensating for air extraction by process exhaust fans. This integrated building ventilation and make-up air solution collaborate to maintain consistent building pressure, eradicate temperature fluctuations, and address various air quality concerns. The Clear Air MAU efficiently preheats incoming fresh air, ensuring continuous and comfortable ventilation throughout the building.

With its energy-efficient ECM motor, the Clear Air unit seamlessly combines a fan-driven, fully modulating electric heating element with a fresh air relay logic control circuit, offering a versatile all-in-one packaged solution.

Designed for concealed installation within building spaces, such as the area between a finished ceiling and a drop ceiling, the MAU is compatible with HVAC equipment to enhance indoor air quality. It can be integrated into either the return side or supply side of the ductwork system or directly into the building space.

• Direct drive high-efficiency ECM motor with thermal protection and permanent lubrication, eliminating the need for belt adjustments or maintenance.
• Controlled via an electronic proportional thermostat capable of using either a 0 to 10VDC or 4 to 20mA signal. The built-in thermostat can be detached and relocated for use as a wall-mounted thermostat.
• Includes a field-installed duct sensor.
• Quick-heating Ni-Chrome elements with a long lifespan, supported by a steel frame and insulated with ceramic holders.
• All low-voltage wires are connected to a 14-point block with factory-side quick connects and field-side screw terminals.
• Utilizes a relay logic control circuit with a dedicated 24V power supply, which can be switched to activate external devices like dampers or exhaust fans.
• Features a lockout circuit for auxiliary devices, such as an outside thermostat or humidistat, preventing the Clear Air system from activating unless specific conditions are met.
• Equipped with a 24V high-temperature limit circuit wired in series to safeguard each individual heating element.
• Constructed from 20GA electrogalvanized sheet metal through welded construction and finished with a corrosion-resistant gray coating.
• Option to install an internal Supply Power Disconnect.
• Holds UL listing approvals.
