Which remote should I use with Kingsman ZCV3622NE Fireplace, the EGTFRCN or GRTRCN?

The ZCV3622 fireplace is not approved for the EGTFRCN remote control with the fan module. Its our understanding that there is not enough space in the cavity below the fire box. If you have a fan, it would have to operate with the standard heat activated variable speed control. The EGTMRCN remote control has a built in thermostat and has flame heigh adjustment.
