OVERVIEW

Our Maxx Air Gable Attic Fan is built to ventilate residential attic spaces up to 2,500 sq. ft. and is a great fit for situations in which roof mounting is impractical. Constructed using a durable galvanized steel shroud and blades to resist heat distortion, it is paired with a mounting system engineered to minimize vibration and ensure quiet operation. Installation is straightforward with our easy-to-use mounting brackets and requires no special tools to complete.

Our gable vent includes a pre-wired thermostat that runs the exhaust fan only when needed, minimizing its operational cost. This electric fan is designed to prolong the life of composition roof shingles by lowering summer attic temperatures and helps protect attic insulation against mold and mildew in the winter by removing moisture-filled air. Install behind existing louvers or purchase our shutter model (CX2121AM), and swap the pre-wired thermostat for a thermostat/humidistat combo (XXDUOSTAT) for greater control.

Premium Materials & Construction

The Maxx Air CX2500UPS Gable Mount Power Attic Ventilator is built to deliver reliable attic ventilation with durable components designed for long-lasting performance. Its galvanized steel shroud and fan blades provide strength and resistance to heat distortion and corrosion, making the unit suitable for typical attic environments where high temperatures and humidity can challenge lesser materials.

At the heart of the ventilator is a continuous-duty PSC motor, engineered to run consistently and pre-wired for 120V / 60 Hz service. An adjustable, pre-installed thermostat automatically senses attic temperatures and activates the fan as needed, supporting efficient, temperature-responsive operation. The unit includes a factory-assembled mounting bracket system, which secures the ventilator behind existing gable vents and helps keep the assembly stable and aligned for smooth airflow.

These thoughtfully selected materials and construction elements work together to provide a rugged, dependable ventilation solution that helps promote attic air movement and reduce heat and moisture buildup — all backed by manufacturer-specified design and engineering.
