McDonnell & Miller 93-7B (163000) Modulating Level Controller

The McDonnell & Miller Model 93-7Bis a mechanical float-type modulating level controller. The level controller is piped to an external water column via 1” NPT equalizing pipes. The 93-7B controller utilizes a 0–135 ohm modulating (potentiometer slide wire) control signal to proportionally control the makeup valve. When used on a boiler, the controller also includes 1 set of electrical contacts for burner control and one set of electrical contacts for low level alarm. The 93-7B is rated for a maximum pressure of 150 PSI. Within boiler feed systems, the McDonnell & Miller 93-7B is commonly paired with an electronic modulating makeup valve to maintain a steady water level within the tank. The 93-7B is typically used for deaerators and large atmospheric feed tanks (500+ gallons).
