- Control Boards AssemblyThe part is VERY easy to change. Remove the side cover=2 screws. Unplug the wire connectors. They are color coded and only fit where they belong. Unfasten the old control assembly=2 screws. Move it towards the center of the air handler. The control assembly has a tab in the back which slides right out. DONE. Look at the old unit settings and set the new one to match the old one. The small dip switches etc. verify you set everything. Slide the back tab into the slot and put the 2 screws in. Push the wire connectors back in. Reinstall the side cover. 2 screws. Done. Power it up.
The only thing better than easy replacement is the service. They did everything they could to get me what I needed. I'd highly recommend them.Posted on
