The Mitsubishi Quad Zone Mini Split Systems are state of the art ductless mini split heat pump systems, providing both heating and cooling for your home. Rated at 15.2 SEER, with an inverter-driven compressor, this efficient system will keep operating costs down while providing year-round comfort. Each living space has its own air-handling unit and each unit has its own wireless electronic temperature controller.
The Mitsubishi MXZ-5C42NA2-U1 is a heat pump condenser designed to be used in multi zone system setups. As one air handler is needed per room that you are trying to heat and cool, multiple single zone condensers can take up a lot of space in your yard, making a multi zone unit more practical in many applications.
The Mitsubishi MXZ-5C42NA2-U1 is rated at 42,000 BTU, which generally should be the same or greater than the total BTU count across all air handlers that this unit is paired with. In some instances, a certified pairing will have a higher BTU count total than this condenser’s rating. This is intentional, as the condenser can easily handle more, however anything higher than this rating can potentially lower the speed that the unit can heat and cool, as well as limit the functional outputs of each air handler if they are all running at the same time. Please note that in order to function, this heat pump condenser must be installed with compatible air handlers, controllers, and other installation equipment, available at an additional cost
Mitsubishi offers a 5 year parts and 7 year compressor warranty on all of its products. When the unit is registered online through the manufacturer after an installation that follows your state and local codes, the warranty is upgraded to a 10 year parts and compressor warranty.
With its variable speed compressor, the MXZ-5C42NA2-U1 can provide more precise adjustments to the covered spaces with the right air handlers. This also slightly improves electrical efficiency by ramping the compressor up and down based on the unit’s air handlers’ needs, as well as providing a more stable temperature output from the connected air handlers to provide superior comfort.
For ease of control, many air handlers that are compatible with the MXZ-5C42NA2-U1 can use any Mitsubishi-brand thermostat or adapter. The most convenient to control— the Kumo cloud WiFi adapter, found here—allows each air handler to be accessed from anywhere that you have Internet. Please note that in most applications, you will need one thermostat or adapter per indoor air handler that you want to be able to control with it.

Designed for use in applications where standard, whole-home air handlers are too large, this air handler can fit in a wide variety of tight locations such as crawlspaces. The unit can support small duct runs, or the unit can direct airflow directly into the space with no ductwork. All of the SEZ-KD09NA4’s features provide enhanced comfort to your home in a convenient form factor.

The Mitsubishi MHK2 is the second revision of Mitsubishi's most popular wireless controller set, now available for M & P Series residential and light commercial units. This controller offers in-depth 7-day scheduling and an easy to read, backlit display.
The updated MHK2 can now be used in tandem with the Kumo Cloud wi-fi adapter, sold separately. No longer do you have to choose between internet and wireless control: you can use both!
The MRCH2 is the main body of the thermostat. This can be placed anywhere within 200 feet of the indoor unit and does not require line of sight. The ;MRC2 cable will connect to the CN105 connector on the indoor unit's control board. The other end of this cable will connect to the MIFH2 receiver. The MIFH2 should be placed on the right side of a wall mounted unit, in the pocket of a MLZ-KP cassette, or anywhere near the control side of a ducted or square cassette unit.
