Included

  • Modine Hot Dawg HD 125,000 BTU Natural Gas Garage Heater - Aluminized Steel Heat Exchanger; Model HD125AS0111FBAN

Standard Features

  • Built with an aluminized steel heat exchanger, which slows down general wear-and-tear.
  • Incredibly quiet, the HD125 heater is inconspicuous yet effective at keeping you warm while helping you minimize distractions from your work.
  • Improved air flow and efficiency rating of 83%.
  • The HD125 has a low-profile design, with a height of only 20.5 inches. It can be mounted with as little as a one-inch clearance from the ceiling with only two angle brackets, which further prevents the heater from distracting you from daily life.
  • Electric wiring knockouts and field wiring connections reduce the installation costs by simplifying the installation process and the time required to install the unit.
  • The included powered venting system allows for faster and more efficient expelling of flue exhaust from the heater to outside. The venting system is fast and easy to install, which helps further keep the installation cost relatively low.
  • The unit's motor has an extremely long-lasting lubricant put in straight from the factory to reduce operational wear-and-tear from age. This heavily reduces maintenance and upkeep costs since the motor never has to be oiled during its natural lifetime, reducing maintenance costs as well as keeping the unit quiet even as it ages.
  • The factory-implemented paint on the HD125 is corrosion resistant and highly durable, while still blending in seamlessly with a variety of environments in its color, allowing it to be versatile in installation placement.
  • Modine passes on a 2-year parts and 10 year heat exchanger warranty to homeowners, when the unit is installed by a professional.

Do you know how many decibels is this unit? Compared to the Reznor UDX equivalent that is 55dB at15 feet.
With the Modine Hot Dawgs the disruption levels are quite minimal. At a distance of five feet, the HD125AS0111FBAN decibel levels range from 53 dB to 58dB. To put that into a comparison normal speaking volume at three feet is between 60 to 65 dB. If you have any further questions we recommend that you give us a call. Thanks!
What type of venting do these unit heaters require? B-vent or PVC?
These units require Category I (B-vent) for vertical venting through the roof, or Category III for venting horizontally through side walls. The exhaust on these units exceeds a temperature that would allow for PVC Venting. If you have any further questions, please feel free to give us a call. Thanks!
