Modine PTX 300,000 BTU LP Separated Combustion Propeller Unit Heater - Aluminized Steel Heat Exchanger

Designed to handle poor air quality, such as high humidity and negative pressure, the Modine PTX300 will bring in fresh, clean air from outside the building to improve indoor air conditions.

A Contractor Convenience Package that consists of an external junction box featuring simple connection of supply power wiring internally, thermostat wiring to terminals externally, an On/Off switch, and status indicator lights to display the operational state of the unit shall be factory mounted on the rear panel of the casing.

Quality

The furnace of the PTX300 is designed with a minimum efficiency of 82%, provided by a heat exchanger with individually fired tubes that create minimal noise while still providing maximum heat transfer.

Simplicity

The PTX model is smaller than other models and has 4 built-in suspension points to accept 3/8" wide, 16" long rods for mounting.

Durability

This unit comes in a corrosion-resistant casing and has an aluminized-steel heat exchanger, which slows down general wear-and-tear. It is also designed to ensure proper ignition while withstanding wind velocities of up to 40 miles per hour. A built-in automatic safety switch is provided in the event of overheating.

Warranty

This unit heater includes a 2-year parts and 10-year heat exchanger warranty.
