The MRCOOL Olympus is THE whole house mini-split solution. Up to 3 zones, the Olympus offers aesthetically pleasing wall mounted, and ceiling cassette units. This 2 ton 27,000 BTU condenser can support up to three zones simultaneously.

Configured for a space-saving footprint, Olympus outdoor units include advanced Inverter variable speed compressor technology. MRCOOL Olympus series ductless heating and cooling systems are a convenient, multi room solution for homes or offices that formerly relied on electric baseboard heaters in the winter and window air conditioning units in the summer. The digital controls give the unit a sleek and aesthetically pleasing appearance.

MRCOOL Olympus series multi-zone systems can support two, three, four, or five indoor units for extreme design flexibility. This package Includes: MRCOOL 27K BTU Multi-Zone Condenser, 3 9K BTU Wall Mounted Air Handlers, 3 Remotes.

How many square feet does each wall unit cover?

The square footage that the system will cover depends on several factors including your climate zone, quality of insulation and number of windows. Please reference our Sizing Guide. This guide will help you determine the size of system that you need. If you have any further questions please give us a call.

Where are they manufactured?

MRCOOL is based out of Kentucky however most of their mini-splits are manufactured in China.

Does this system come with all items needed to install or is that separate?

Thank you for your question. This MRCOOL Olympus mini split system comes with some of the needed accessories, but others will still be required. For a complete installation, you will need a line set for each air handler to connect them to the outdoor condenser. For the outdoor condenser, you will need a disconnect switch and and electrical whip. Depending on your installation you may need a condensate pump for your drain line. The condensate drain line connects to the back of the air handler to remove condensation. For most installations, this drain line runs downward, allowing gravity to carry the condensation away. However, some installations require this drain line to run against gravity. In these cases you will require a condensate pump. We would also recommend a wall mount bracket or equipment pad for the condenser and line set cover guards to both protect and camouflage the line sets.
