Read our privacy policyThe Multiquip QPT405SLT is a 4-inch high-pressure centrifugal pump designed for high-head clear-water applications requiring substantial pressure and water-transfer capacity. With a maximum pumping capacity of 210 GPM, maximum head of 377.3 feet, and maximum pressure of 163 PSI, the QPT405SLT is suited for agricultural watering, irrigation, jetting, water wash, construction, excavation, drainage, mining, municipal applications, emergency response, and firefighting support.
The QPT405SLT features a wet self-priming design, aluminum pump construction, a closed sand-cast aluminum impeller and volute, silicon/carbon mechanical seal, and a heavy-duty tubular steel frame. Its Honda GX390 gasoline engine provides 11.7 HP, while the three-way discharge manifold provides one 4-inch and two 3-inch discharge ports that can be used independently or simultaneously according to application requirements.
A high-pressure centrifugal pump uses a rotating impeller to transfer water while generating greater pressure and head than conventional low-pressure water-transfer pumps. The QPT405SLT combines a high-efficiency closed impeller and volute with a high-output gasoline engine to move water over substantial vertical distances and through systems requiring elevated pressure.
The QPT405SLT delivers up to 210 GPM, 377.3 feet of maximum head, and 163 PSI of maximum pressure. Its maximum suction lift is 25 feet, providing flexibility for drawing water from suitable sources such as lakes, rivers, tanks, reservoirs, and other water supplies.
The QPT405SLT uses a wet self-priming design that allows the pump casing to be filled with water before operation. Once properly primed, the pump is designed to establish water flow quickly. The 4-inch suction port and large strainer support high-volume water intake, while the pump should always be operated with the suction strainer fully submerged and the casing properly filled with water.
The QPT405SLT uses a closed sand-cast aluminum impeller and volute designed for high-pressure fluid transfer. Its three-way discharge manifold provides one 4-inch and two 3-inch discharge connections, allowing discharge ports to be configured independently or simultaneously depending on the pumping application.
The QPT405SLT is powered by a Honda GX390 389 cc, air-cooled, four-stroke OHV gasoline engine rated at 11.7 HP and operating at 3,600 RPM. The engine uses recoil starting, a mechanical governor, dual-element air filtration, splash lubrication, and an oil-alert system that shuts down the engine when the oil level becomes too low. The 1.6-gallon fuel tank provides approximately 1.74 hours of runtime under the manufacturer's specified operating conditions.
The QPT405SLT combines a sand-cast aluminum pump body with cast aluminum impeller and volute components, durable cast iron connection ports, stainless steel hardware, and a 1.07-inch tubular steel protective frame. The pump has a dry weight of approximately 273.4 pounds and overall dimensions of approximately 36.1 inches long by 22.8 inches wide by 28.6 inches high.
The QPT405SLT is designed for suitable clear-water pumping applications and can handle solids up to 0.18 inches (4.5 mm). The maximum fluid temperature is 104°F (40°C), and the maximum suction lift is 25 feet. Multiquip specifies that the pump is not intended for pumping salt water, corrosive chemicals, flammable fluids, or fluids containing toxic substances.
The Multiquip QPT405SLT pump has a 2 Year Warranty from the date of purchase. The Honda GX390 engine has a 3 Year Warranty, while applicable hoses have a 3-month warranty. Refer to Multiquip's warranty terms for complete coverage, conditions, and exclusions.
The Multiquip QPT405SLT is a professional-grade gasoline-powered centrifugal high-pressure pump engineered for applications requiring high flow, extreme head, and powerful water pressure. Powered by a Honda GX390 11.7 HP gasoline engine, the QPT405SLT delivers up to 210 gallons per minute with a maximum published head of 377.3 feet and up to 163 PSI, making it a powerful solution for jetting operations, water wash-down, agricultural applications, emergency water transfer, and firefighting support.
Its 4-inch suction port feeds a versatile discharge manifold consisting of one 4-inch outlet and two 3-inch outlets, allowing flexible hose configurations for demanding field applications. The pump also provides up to 25 feet of maximum suction lift, making it well suited for drawing water from tanks, ponds, lakes, streams, and other sources where the water level is below the pump.
