Read our privacy policyThe Multiquip QP15HP is a compact 1.5-inch high-pressure centrifugal pump designed for applications requiring strong water pressure and high head performance. Powered by a 2.1 HP Honda GXH50 gasoline engine, the QP15HP delivers up to 56 GPM and a maximum head of 197 feet, making it suitable for irrigation, equipment wash-down, dust control, water jetting, emergency response, excavation, drainage, farms, construction sites, and other water-transfer applications.
The QP15HP combines lightweight die-cast aluminum pump construction with a semi-open impeller and volute designed for high-pressure fluid transfer. A ceramic/carbon mechanical seal with 304 stainless steel construction provides durability under demanding operating conditions, while the compact 22-pound design and heavy-duty tubular steel carrying handle make the pump easy to transport between work areas.
A high-pressure centrifugal pump uses a rotating impeller to transfer water while generating higher pressure and head than many standard centrifugal pumps. The QP15HP is designed around this principle, combining a compact pump assembly with a high-pressure impeller and volute to move water over substantial vertical distances or through systems requiring increased pressure.
The QP15HP provides a maximum pumping capacity of 56 GPM, a maximum head of 197 feet, and maximum pressure of 86 PSI. Its maximum suction lift is 25 feet, providing flexibility for drawing water from sources such as tanks, pools, lakes, rivers, and other suitable water supplies.
The QP15HP uses a lightweight die-cast aluminum pump casing, semi-open die-cast aluminum impeller, and aluminum volute designed to promote efficient water flow and fast priming. A built-in check valve helps maintain prime by retaining water in the pump casing between operating cycles.
The QP15HP is powered by a Honda GXH50 49.4 cc air-cooled, four-stroke OHV engine rated at 2.1 HP. The engine uses recoil starting, a mechanical governor, splash lubrication, and an oil-alert system for low-oil protection. Its 0.203-gallon fuel tank provides approximately 0.85 hours of continuous operation under the manufacturer's specified conditions.
The QP15HP measures approximately 15.7 inches long by 10.8 inches wide by 14.8 inches high and weighs approximately 22 pounds dry. A heavy-duty 7/8-inch tubular steel carrying handle and integrated shock mounts make the pump practical for portable applications while helping minimize vibration and movement during operation.
The QP15HP is designed for suitable clear-water pumping applications and can handle solids up to 0.18 inches (4.5 mm). The pump is rated for liquids up to 104°F (40°C). Multiquip specifies that the pump should not be used for salt water or selected chemicals, and the engine must be operated outdoors or in an adequately ventilated area to prevent exposure to exhaust gases.
The Multiquip QP15HP pump has a 2 Year Warranty from the date of purchase. The Honda GXH50 engine has a 1 Year Warranty, while applicable hoses have a 3-month warranty. Refer to Multiquip's warranty terms for complete coverage, conditions, and exclusions.
The Multiquip QP15HP is a compact, portable high-pressure centrifugal pump engineered for applications requiring substantial pressure and head in an easy-to-carry package. Powered by an EPA-certified and CARB-preempt Honda GXH50 2.1 HP gasoline engine, the QP15HP delivers up to 56 gallons per minute with a maximum published head of 197 feet and maximum pressure of 86 PSI, providing strong performance for water jetting, equipment wash-down, dust control, irrigation, and other high-pressure water-transfer applications.
Its 1.5-inch male NPT suction and discharge ports support efficient water movement, while the semi-open impeller and die-cast aluminum pump construction combine performance with portability. The pump provides a maximum suction lift of 25 feet and can handle solids up to 0.18 inches in diameter, making it a versatile solution for relatively clean-water applications where high pressure is more important than large-solids handling.
Built for dependable field use, the QP15HP features a die-cast aluminum impeller, volute, and pump casing, along with a ceramic/carbon mechanical seal with 304 stainless steel components. Its compact hand-carry design weighs only 22 pounds, while shock-mounted pump construction helps minimize operating harmonics for dependable performance in construction, agricultural, utility, and general water-transfer applications.
