Read our privacy policyThe Multiquip QP205SH is a 2-inch high-pressure centrifugal pump designed for applications requiring substantial water pressure and high-head performance. With a maximum pumping capacity of 106 GPM, maximum head of 231 feet, and maximum pressure of 100 PSI, the QP205SH is well suited for irrigation, water jetting, dust control, agricultural watering, construction, excavation, drainage, emergency response, fire-fighting support, water-main testing, and other high-pressure water-transfer applications.
The QP205SH combines a lightweight die-cast aluminum pump casing with a closed sand-cast aluminum impeller and die-cast aluminum volute engineered for high-pressure performance. Its Honda GX160 gasoline engine provides 4.8 HP, while the three-port discharge manifold allows the 1.5-inch and two 1-inch outlets to be used independently or simultaneously according to application requirements.
A high-pressure centrifugal pump uses a rotating impeller to move water while generating elevated pressure and head. The QP205SH combines a closed high-pressure impeller and volute with a gasoline-powered engine to transfer water over substantial vertical distances and through systems requiring increased pressure.
The QP205SH provides up to 106 GPM of flow, 231 feet of maximum head, and 100 PSI of maximum pressure. Its maximum suction lift is 25 feet, allowing the pump to draw water from suitable sources such as tanks, lakes, rivers, reservoirs, and other water supplies.
The QP205SH uses a closed sand-cast aluminum impeller and die-cast aluminum volute designed for efficient high-pressure water transfer. Its three-port manifold provides one 1.5-inch and two 1-inch discharge connections that can be used independently or simultaneously depending on the application.
The QP205SH is powered by a Honda GX160 163 cc, air-cooled, four-stroke OHV gasoline engine rated at 4.8 HP and operating at 3,600 RPM. The engine uses recoil starting, mechanical governing, dual-element air filtration, splash lubrication, and an oil-alert system for low-oil shutdown. Its 0.82-gallon fuel tank provides approximately 2.2 hours of continuous operation under the manufacturer's specified conditions.
The QP205SH features a die-cast aluminum pump casing and fittings, aluminum impeller and volute components, steel hardware, and a heavy-duty tubular steel frame. The integrated engine and pump shock mounts help minimize vibration and movement during operation, while the pump's approximately 64-pound dry weight makes it practical for portable high-pressure applications.
The QP205SH is designed for suitable clear-water pumping applications and can handle solids up to 0.18 inches (4.5 mm). The maximum fluid temperature is 104°F (40°C), and the maximum suction lift is 25 feet. Multiquip specifies that the pump should not be used for salt water or chemicals, and the gasoline engine requires adequate ventilation during operation.
The Multiquip QP205SH pump has a 2 Year Warranty from the date of purchase. The Honda GX160 engine has a 3 Year Warranty, while applicable hoses have a 3-month warranty. Refer to Multiquip's warranty terms for complete coverage, conditions, and exclusions.
The Multiquip QP205SH is a gasoline-powered centrifugal high-pressure pump built for applications where strong pressure, substantial head, and portable performance are required. Its Honda GX160 4.8 HP gasoline engine powers the pump to a maximum published capacity of 106 gallons per minute, while delivering up to 231 feet of head and 100 PSI for demanding irrigation, construction, emergency response, municipal, and water-transfer applications.
A 2-inch male NPT suction port provides high-capacity water intake, while the three-way discharge manifold includes one 1.5-inch NPT outlet and two 1-inch NPT outlets. These discharge ports can operate individually or at the same time, giving users greater flexibility when supplying multiple hoses or water lines. The QP205SH also provides up to 25 feet of suction lift for applications where the water source is positioned below the pump.
