Read our privacy policyThe Multiquip ST2037F is a 2-inch submersible centrifugal pump with an integrated mechanical float switch designed to automatically remove water from construction sites, well casings, excavations, manholes, cofferdams, and other confined or open-area applications. With a maximum capacity of 73 GPM and 37 feet of maximum head, it provides dependable water removal for general-purpose dewatering.
Designed for portability and continuous jobsite use, the ST2037F combines a nitrile rubber-over-steel impeller, oil-filled mechanical seal system, internal thermal overload protection, and a durable strainer base. Its 115V single-phase configuration and 26.25-foot power cable provide a practical setup for applications where automatic pumping and easy relocation are required.
A submersible dewatering pump is designed to operate while submerged in the water being removed. The ST2037F uses a centrifugal pumping system to draw water through its strainer base and discharge it through a 2-inch outlet, making it suitable for general-purpose water removal in construction and utility environments.
The ST2037F has a maximum pumping capacity of 73 GPM and a maximum total head of 37 feet. Actual flow depends on the discharge hose length, elevation, fittings, and other system restrictions. Multiquip's current performance curve identifies 73 GPM as the maximum capacity and 37 feet as the maximum head.
The integrated mechanical float switch allows the ST2037F to automatically start and stop according to the water level. The switch uses a microswitch and latching-ball mechanism, with a hermetically sealed cable and thick-walled polypropylene enclosure designed for reliable operation in liquid environments.
The float-switch pumping range is adjustable through the tether cord. The current manual specifies a minimum submergence of approximately 6 inches (150 mm) for the ST2037F and shows a maximum pumping range of approximately 20.1 inches (510 mm), depending on the float configuration and operating conditions.
The ST2037F uses a nitrile rubber-over-steel impeller designed to minimize wear and support reliable service life. The pump incorporates an oil-filled mechanical seal system with a 120 ml oil capacity. Multiquip specifies a good-grade 10-weight non-detergent hydraulic oil, such as Shell Turbo 32 or equivalent, for the seal cavity.
The ST2037F operates on 115V, single-phase, 60 Hz power. The current specification table lists 25 amps starting current and 6.9 amps running current. The pump operates at 3,390 ± 30 RPM and is supplied with a 26.25-foot (8 m) power cable.
Internal thermal overload protection automatically shuts down the motor when operating temperatures become too high and allows the motor to restart after the temperature returns to an acceptable level. The pump is specified for counterclockwise rotation when viewed from the impeller end.
The ST2037F is designed for portability, with a carrying handle and a dry net weight of approximately 29.8 pounds. The latest manual lists an overall dimension of approximately 15.82 inches in one primary dimension and a 7.48-inch dimension across the pump assembly, it highlights its narrow 7.4-inch overall diameter.
The ST2037F is designed for automatic dewatering of well casings, construction sites, cofferdams, manholes, transformer vaults, and excavations. Its compact design also makes it suitable for indoor and outdoor water-removal applications where automatic pump operation is desired.
The ST2037F is intended for pumping water and should not be used with flammable liquids, acidic or alkaline liquids, or in explosive or hazardous environments. Multiquip also instructs users not to pump water above 140°F (60°C), and the pump should not be allowed to run dry during normal operation.
Warranty coverage is provided according to Multiquip's current New Product Limited Warranty terms. Refer to the manufacturer's current warranty documentation for applicable coverage, exclusions, and warranty procedures.
The Multiquip ST2037F is a lightweight and compact electric submersible centrifugal pump designed for dependable automatic water removal in confined and open-area applications. Powered by a 1.0 HP, 115V single-phase electric motor, the ST2037F delivers up to 73 gallons per minute with a maximum published total head of 37 feet, providing strong pumping performance for contractors, service utilities, municipalities, homeowners, and other demanding users.
Unlike the standard ST2037, the ST2037F is equipped with a tethered industrial mechanical float switch assembly that allows the pump to operate automatically as water levels rise and fall. This makes the ST2037F particularly useful for applications where automatic water-level control is preferred, reducing the need for continuous manual pump operation.
Built for dependable operation, the ST2037F features a 2-inch NPT female discharge port, rugged construction, internal thermal overload protection, reliable double mechanical oil-filled seals, and sealed ball bearings. A molded power cable with strain relief provides added durability, while its compact construction makes the pump easier to position in a variety of demanding dewatering environments.
