Read our privacy policyThe Multiquip ST61230 is a 6-inch submersible centrifugal pump designed for high-volume water removal in construction, industrial, utility, and municipal applications. With a maximum pumping capacity of 647 GPM and a maximum head of 105 feet, the ST61230 provides powerful performance for standing water, excavations, site drainage, manholes, wastewater, quarries, irrigation, and other demanding dewatering applications.
Built for demanding pumping environments, the ST61230 features a rugged stainless steel outer casing, cast iron inner casing, dynamically balanced high-chrome steel impeller, oil-bathed dual silicon carbide mechanical seals, heat-treated 420J2 stainless steel shaft, thermal and over-current protection, and a 49.2-foot molded power cable. Its 15 HP, 230V three-phase motor provides high-capacity pumping for demanding water-removal applications.
A submersible dewatering pump operates while submerged in the water being removed. The ST61230 uses a centrifugal impeller to move large volumes of water through its 6-inch discharge, making it suitable for construction, industrial, utility, and municipal applications where high-capacity water removal is required.
The ST61230 provides a maximum pumping capacity of 647 GPM and a maximum head of 105 feet. Its high-capacity design is suitable for moving substantial volumes of water from excavations, standing-water areas, site drainage, manholes, quarries, wastewater applications, and irrigation systems.
The ST61230 uses a dynamically balanced high-chrome steel impeller designed for abrasion resistance and extended service life. Its oil-bathed double mechanical seal system uses silicon carbide sealing surfaces, while the heat-treated 420J2 stainless steel mechanical shaft provides durable operation in demanding pumping conditions.
The ST61230 operates at 230V, three-phase, 60 Hz with a 15 HP motor. The pump has a 45.2-amp running current and requires a compatible control box for safe operation and protection. The CB12A6974 control box provides electronic overload, power-spike, and short-circuit protection and supports compatible float-switch connections for automatic water-level control.
The ST61230 features a rigid stainless steel outer casing with a cast iron inner casing, stainless steel hardware, and a stainless steel strainer base. Its 13.9-inch diameter and streamlined housing provide a durable configuration for high-volume dewatering applications, while the 49.2-foot molded power cable provides extended reach.
The ST61230 can pass spherical solids up to 0.6 inches (15.2 mm) in diameter. It has a minimum pumping level of 5.5 inches and a minimum submergence of 31.3 inches. The pump is designed for liquids up to 104°F (40°C) and is not intended for pumping salt water or chemicals.
The Multiquip ST61230 has a 1 Year Warranty from the date of purchase. Hoses, float switches, and the CB12A6974 control box carry separate three-month warranty periods. Refer to Multiquip's warranty terms for complete coverage, conditions, and exclusions.
