With a maximum pumping capacity of 79 GPM and a maximum head of 40 feet, the ST2040T provides dependable water removal from excavations, standing-water areas, site drainage, manholes, flooded basements, swimming pools, quarries, irrigation systems, and other demanding applications.
Built for heavy-duty dewatering, the ST2040T features a durable cast iron housing, neoprene rubber-over-steel impeller, dual silicon carbide mechanical seals, stainless steel shaft, internal thermal overload protection, and a 26.2-foot molded power cable with strain relief. Its 2/3 HP, 115V single-phase motor provides convenient operation from standard electrical power.

What Is a Submersible Trash Pump?
A submersible trash pump operates while submerged in the water being removed and is designed to handle water containing larger debris than a conventional clean-water pump. The ST2040T uses a centrifugal pumping design with a 2-inch discharge and 0.71-inch solid-handling capability, making it suitable for construction, industrial, residential, and other debris-laden water applications.

The ST2040T provides up to 79 GPM of pumping capacity with a maximum head of 40 feet. Its performance is suited to removing standing water from excavations, manholes, basements, swimming pools, drainage areas, quarries, irrigation systems, and other locations where water contains solids or debris.
Durable Impeller and Sealing System
The ST2040T uses a neoprene rubber-over-steel impeller designed for abrasion resistance and dependable trash-pumping performance.
