Read our privacy policyThe Multiquip QP2TK is a compact 2-inch diesel-powered trash pump designed for demanding dewatering and water-transfer applications. With a maximum pumping capacity of 172 GPM, 85 feet of maximum head, and the ability to handle solids up to 1 inch in diameter, it is suited for excavations, floodwater removal, sewage bypass, ponds, ditches, muddy water, construction drainage, and other debris-laden water applications.
The QP2TK combines a die-cast aluminum pump casing with a #45 ductile iron impeller and volute, a silicon/carbon mechanical seal, dual 2-inch discharge ports, and a tubular steel protective frame. Its 6.0 HP Kubota OC60-E4 diesel engine uses electric starting for convenient operation where gasoline-powered equipment is not preferred.
A trash pump is designed to move water containing suspended solids and debris that can clog conventional clean-water pumps. The QP2TK uses a 2-inch pumping system with 1-inch maximum solid handling, allowing it to move muddy water, silt, ditch water, ponds, floodwater, and other debris-laden water more effectively than a typical clean-water pump.
The QP2TK provides up to 172 GPM of flow with a maximum head of 85 feet and maximum pressure of 37.7 PSI. Its 25-foot maximum suction lift provides flexibility when positioning the pump near a water source for dewatering and water-transfer applications.
The QP2TK features die-cast aluminum pump-end casings designed for fast priming and reduced overall weight. A #45 ductile iron impeller and volute provide abrasion resistance for demanding trash-pumping applications, while the silicon/carbon mechanical seal is designed for durability during operation with debris-laden water.
The QP2TK is powered by a 6.0 HP Kubota OC60-E4 diesel engine operating at 3,600 RPM. The oil- and forced-air-cooled engine uses diesel fuel and an electric/recoil starting system, with a 12V, 27Ah battery supporting the electric-start configuration.
Two 2-inch male NPT discharge ports are positioned on opposite sides of the pump, allowing discharge hose or pipe to be routed according to the jobsite configuration. The large cleanout chamber provides convenient access when debris needs to be removed from the pump.
The QP2TK is built around a tubular steel frame that helps protect the engine and pump assembly during transportation and operation. The unit measures approximately 26.5 inches long by 23.5 inches wide by 24 inches high and has an operating weight of approximately 157 pounds. An optional UWKA wheel kit is available for easier movement.
The QP2TK is intended for dewatering applications involving water with debris and suspended solids. The pump casing must be filled with water before initial operation to support self-priming. For best suction performance, Multiquip recommends keeping the suction line as short as practical and positioning the pump as close to the water source as possible.
Warranty coverage is subject to Multiquip's New Product Limited Warranty and the applicable manufacturer terms for the pump and Kubota engine. Refer to the current Multiquip warranty documentation for the applicable coverage period and complete warranty conditions.
The Multiquip QP2TK is a professional-grade diesel-powered centrifugal trash pump engineered for demanding construction, industrial, municipal, and emergency dewatering applications. Powered by a rugged Kubota OC60-E4 6.0 HP diesel engine, the QP2TK delivers up to 172 gallons per minute with a maximum published head of 85 feet and maximum pressure of 37.7 PSI, providing dependable performance for excavations, flood water removal, sewage bypass, water transfer, and other challenging pumping jobs.
Its 2-inch suction connection and dual 2-inch discharge ports provide flexible hose positioning while supporting efficient water movement. The QP2TK can handle solids up to 1 inch in diameter, making it well suited for dirty water containing mud, sediment, gravel, and other debris that can challenge conventional clean-water pumps. A maximum suction lift of 25 feet also provides flexibility when the water source is positioned below the pump.
Built for tough professional use, the QP2TK features Multiquip's rugged die-cast aluminum pump-end casing, #45 ductile-iron impeller and volute, durable silicon/carbon mechanical seal, large clean-out chamber, and protective tubular steel frame. Shock-mounted construction helps reduce operating vibration, while electric starting provides convenient diesel-powered operation for demanding jobsites.
