Read our privacy policyThe Multiquip QP3TK is a compact 3-inch diesel-powered trash pump designed for demanding dewatering and water-transfer applications. It delivers up to 325 GPM with a maximum head of 87 feet and can handle solids up to 1.5 inches in diameter, making it suitable for excavations, floodwater removal, sewage bypass, water transfer, barge cleaning, and other applications involving debris-laden water.
The QP3TK combines a die-cast aluminum pump casing with a ductile iron semi-open impeller, cast iron volute, silicon carbide/304 stainless steel mechanical seal, and stainless steel hardware. Its 6.0 HP Kubota OC60-E4 diesel engine provides reliable diesel-powered operation, while the tubular steel frame and shock-mounted pump design help protect the equipment during demanding jobsite use.
A trash pump is designed to move water containing suspended solids, mud, and debris that can clog conventional clean-water pumps. The QP3TK uses a 3-inch pumping system and 1.5-inch solid-handling capability to move debris-laden water while maintaining high-volume pumping performance.
The QP3TK provides up to 325 GPM with a maximum head of 87 feet and maximum pressure of 37.7 PSI. Its 25-foot maximum suction lift allows the pump to be positioned near suitable water sources for excavation drainage, floodwater removal, and other dewatering applications.
The QP3TK uses a die-cast aluminum pump casing to help reduce weight while supporting fast priming. The ductile iron semi-open impeller and cast iron volute are designed for durability when handling debris-laden water, while the silicon carbide/304 stainless steel mechanical seal provides resistance to demanding pumping conditions.
The QP3TK is powered by a Kubota OC60-E4 276 cc, air-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder OHV diesel engine rated at 6.0 HP at 3,600 RPM. The engine uses mechanical centrifugal governing, forced lubrication with a trochoid pump, and both recoil and electric starting capability.
Two 3-inch discharge ports provide flexibility when connecting discharge hoses and routing water away from the pumping area. The pump's 3-inch NPT male connections are designed for compatible hoses, fittings, and couplers used in professional dewatering applications.
The QP3TK uses a tubular steel frame to protect the pump and engine during transportation and operation. Its shock-mounted pump design helps minimize operating harmonics, while the compact approximately 26.9-inch by 23.4-inch by 23.8-inch footprint makes the unit practical for transportation and positioning on demanding jobsites.
The QP3TK uses diesel fuel and has a 0.92-gallon fuel tank. The 2026 Multiquip specification lists fuel consumption at approximately 0.38 gallons per hour and a rated runtime of approximately 2.4 hours under the manufacturer's stated operating conditions.
The QP3TK is designed for water-transfer and dewatering applications involving suspended solids and debris. The maximum fluid temperature is 104°F, and the pump is rated to handle spherical solids up to 1.5 inches. Multiquip specifies that this pump is not intended for pumping salt water or selected chemicals.
The QP3TK has a dry weight of approximately 190.7 pounds according to the 2026 manufacturer data sheet. An optional UWKB wheel kit with folding handles and flat-free tires is available to make transporting the pump easier around the jobsite.
Warranty coverage for the QP3TK is subject to Multiquip's applicable New Product Limited Warranty and the specific warranty terms covering the pump and Kubota engine. Refer to Multiquip's current warranty documentation for complete coverage periods, conditions, and exclusions.
The Multiquip QP3TK is a professional-grade diesel-powered trash pump engineered for demanding construction, municipal, agricultural, industrial, and emergency dewatering applications. Powered by a rugged Kubota OC60-E4 6.0 HP diesel engine, the QP3TK delivers up to 325 gallons per minute with a maximum published head of 87 feet, providing dependable portable pumping power for excavations, floods, jobsite drainage, irrigation, mining, quarries, and other challenging water-transfer applications.
Designed for dirty-water applications, the QP3TK can pass solids up to 1.5 inches in diameter while providing up to 25 feet of maximum suction lift. Its 3-inch suction connection and dual 3-inch discharge ports provide high-volume water movement and flexible hose positioning, while the semi-open ductile-iron impeller and cast-iron volute provide durable abrasion resistance when handling sediment and debris.
Built for demanding professional use, the QP3TK features a die-cast aluminum pump casing, silicon-carbide and 304 stainless steel mechanical seal, heavy-duty tubular steel frame, integrated shock mounts, large cleanout cover, and center lifting pipe. Its Kubota diesel engine offers both recoil and electric starting, while the 0.92-gallon fuel tank provides approximately 2.4 hours of published runtime for dependable field operation.
