Read our privacy policyThe Multiquip QP4TH is a heavy-duty 4-inch gasoline-powered trash pump designed for high-volume dewatering and water-transfer applications. It delivers up to 555 GPM with a maximum head of 92 feet and can handle solids up to 2 inches in diameter, making it well suited for construction sites, excavations, floodwater removal, farms, irrigation, mining, quarries, municipal work, and other demanding pumping applications.
The QP4TH combines a sand-cast aluminum pump body with cast iron fittings, a ductile iron semi-open impeller, cast iron volute, silicon carbide/304 stainless steel mechanical seal, and a heavy-duty tubular steel frame. Its 10.7 HP Honda GX340 engine provides gasoline-powered performance, while dual 4-inch discharge ports offer flexible hose orientation for different jobsite configurations.
A trash pump is designed to move water containing suspended solids, mud, sticks, stones, and other debris that can clog conventional clean-water pumps. The QP4TH uses a large 4-inch pumping passage and 2-inch solid-handling capability to move debris-laden water while maintaining high-volume pumping performance.
The QP4TH provides up to 555 GPM with a maximum head of 92 feet and maximum pressure of 40 PSI. Its 25-foot maximum suction lift allows the pump to be positioned near suitable water sources for construction dewatering, floodwater removal, irrigation, and other large-volume water-transfer applications.
The QP4TH uses a sand-cast aluminum pump casing with cast iron fittings, a ductile iron semi-open impeller, and a cast iron volute. The silicon carbide/304 stainless steel mechanical seal is designed for abrasion resistance and demanding operating conditions, while the steel pump hardware provides durable assembly for professional use.
The QP4TH is powered by a Honda GX340 337 cc, air-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder OHV gasoline engine rated at 10.7 HP at 3,600 RPM. The engine uses recoil starting, mechanical governing, dual-element air filtration, splash lubrication, and standard low-oil shutdown protection.
Two 4-inch discharge ports allow discharge hoses to be positioned according to the requirements of the pumping site. This dual-port configuration provides flexibility when routing water around excavations, structures, equipment, or other obstacles.
The QP4TH features a large cleanout cover that can be removed quickly to provide access to the pump chamber. This simplifies removal of debris that may enter the pump during trash-pumping applications and helps reduce maintenance downtime.
A heavy-duty 1.07-inch tubular steel frame protects the pump and engine while providing a practical structure for transportation. The 2026 Multiquip specification lists the pump at approximately 27.9 inches long by 25.0 inches wide by 28.1 inches high with a dry weight of approximately 221.6 pounds. An optional UWK4 wheel kit with folding handles and flat-free tires is available for easier transportation.
The QP4TH uses unleaded gasoline and has a 1.6-gallon fuel tank. Multiquip rates fuel consumption at approximately 0.82 GPH, providing an estimated 1.95 hours of runtime under the manufacturer's stated conditions. The pump is designed for fluids up to 104°F and is not intended for pumping salt water or selected chemicals.
The Multiquip QP4TH pump has a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase. The Honda GX340 engine has a 36-month warranty, while applicable hoses have a 3-month warranty. Refer to Multiquip's New Product Limited Warranty for complete coverage, conditions, and exclusions.
The Multiquip QP4TK is a professional-grade diesel-powered trash pump engineered for demanding construction, municipal, industrial, agricultural, and emergency dewatering applications. Powered by a rugged Kubota OC95-E4 diesel engine rated at 9.4 HP, the QP4TK delivers up to 475 gallons per minute with a maximum published head of 87 feet and maximum pressure of 37.7 PSI, providing dependable high-volume performance for excavations, floods, jobsite drainage, irrigation, mining, quarries, and other challenging water-transfer applications.
Designed for dirty-water applications, the QP4TK can pass solids up to 2 inches in diameter while providing up to 25 feet of maximum suction lift. Its 4-inch suction connection and dual 4-inch discharge ports support rapid water movement and flexible hose positioning, while the semi-open ductile-iron impeller and cast-iron volute provide durable abrasion resistance when handling mud, sediment, gravel, and other debris.
Built for demanding professional use, the QP4TK features a sand-cast aluminum pump casing, silicon-carbide and 304 stainless steel mechanical seal, heavy-duty 1.07-inch tubular steel frame, integrated shock mounts, large cleanout cover, and center lifting pipe. The Kubota diesel engine supports both recoil and electric starting, while the 1.45-gallon fuel tank provides approximately 2.5 hours of published runtime for dependable field operation.
