The Patterson Power Tube represents a custom-designed fabric air duct system engineered to efficiently manage the distribution of airflow over extensive areas by channeling and directing air through a specialized vented tube, powered by one of Patterson's High Velocity Fans. With just one fan, it can effectively distribute air across multiple workstations or along an assembly line, benefiting several floor-level workers.

Cooling:

The Power Tube offers five standard models, each designed to pair seamlessly with an appropriately sized High Velocity Fan, and offers limitless possibilities for custom configurations. These standard models have been meticulously crafted to optimize airflow, with careful consideration given to factors such as tube length, hole size, and hole spacing. This ensures that air moves smoothly and consistently along the entire length of the tube.

Heating:

This process operates by blending warm air that accumulates near the ceiling with cooler air below, resulting in a well-balanced temperature environment that reduces the workload on your HVAC system.

There are two methods for utilizing a power tube for destratification:

When ceiling space is limited, employ a vertically mounted fan and an open-ended tube. This approach can also be employed to provide targeted heating to specific areas.

Position a standard horizontally mounted power tube near the ceiling. In this setup, individuals at floor level will experience warmth rather than a noticeable breeze. Choose this method if a larger ceiling fan is not within your budget constraints.
