OVERVIEW
Plastec centrifugal fans are available in 6 sizes from 5" up to 23.50" inlet. They are designed to exhaust fumes from highly corrosive environments, such as laboratories, chemical plants, hospitals, and universities. The all-polypropylene construction and thick walls ensure maximum protection against acids and corrosion.
XP models are constructed with carbon-impregnated polypropylene (CIP), designed to dissipate static electricity for safer operation in potentially explosive environments.

Warranty Information
Motor WarrantyAll motors are covered by a one-year warranty from the date of shipment, provided by the motor manufacturer. If service is required during the warranty period, the motor must be taken to the nearest authorized motor service station. Failure to use an authorized service station may void the motor warranty. If you are unsure of an authorized service location, contact the factory for assistance. Installation, removal, re-installation costs, and any consequential damages are not covered.
Blower Housing Assembly WarrantyThe blower housing assembly is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of original shipment. Defective units or parts reported within this period may be replaced at the manufacturer’s option when returned to the factory with transportation prepaid by the sender.
ExclusionsThe following items are not covered by this warranty:
- Normal wear from heat, abrasion, or chemical exposure
- Damage from improper installation, incorrect electrical connections, or unauthorized alterations
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or abnormal operating conditions
- Lack of proper maintenance
- Transportation costs to and from the factory for warranty repairs
This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts as described above. The manufacturer is not responsible for installation, removal, or re-installation costs, nor for any consequential damages resulting from product failure or improper operation.

The Plastec 25 blower is engineered specifically for harsh, corrosive environments. Its entire airflow path, including the housing, impeller, and supporting structure in contact with the airstream, is molded from thick-walled polypropylene, offering excellent resistance to acids, chemicals, salts, and moisture. To protect against ultraviolet degradation in outdoor or sun-exposed installations, the polypropylene material incorporates HALS (Hindered-Amine Light Stabilizers), improving long-term UV stability. Because the blower is direct-drive, there are no belts or pulleys to wear, slip, or require tension adjustment, which greatly enhances reliability and reduces maintenance requirements over time.
All together, these design choices make the Plastec 25 exceptionally durable and suited for environments where conventional metal blowers would corrode, degrade prematurely, or require frequent service.
