OVERVIEW
Plastec centrifugal fans are available in 6 sizes from 5" up to 23.50" inlet. They are designed to exhaust fumes from highly corrosive environments such as laboratories, chemical plants, hospitals, universities, etc. The all-polypropylene construction and thick walls ensure maximum protection against acids and corrosion.

Warranty Information
Motor WarrantyAll motors are covered by a one-year warranty from the date of shipment, provided by the motor manufacturer. If service is required during the warranty period, the motor must be taken to the nearest authorized motor service station. Failure to use an authorized service station may void the motor warranty. If you are unsure of an authorized service location, contact the factory for assistance. Installation, removal, re-installation costs, and any consequential damages are not covered.
Blower Housing Assembly WarrantyThe blower housing assembly is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of original shipment. Defective units or parts reported within this period may be replaced at the manufacturer’s option when returned to the factory with transportation prepaid by the sender.
ExclusionsThe following items are not covered by this warranty:
- Normal wear from heat, abrasion, or chemical exposure
- Damage from improper installation, incorrect electrical connections, or unauthorized alterations
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or abnormal operating conditions
- Lack of proper maintenance
- Transportation costs to and from the factory for warranty repairs
This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts as described above. The manufacturer is not responsible for installation, removal, or re-installation costs, nor for any consequential damages resulting from product failure or improper operation.

The Plastec 50 blower is engineered for the most demanding corrosive and industrial environments. Its entire airflow path — from the housing and impeller to all internal surfaces exposed to the airstream — is made from thick-wall, injection-molded polypropylene, giving it superior resistance to acids, salts, solvents, and chemical vapors. To defend against UV damage when installed outdoors or in exposed conditions, the polypropylene includes HALS (Hindered-Amine Light Stabilizers), which slow down photodegradation and preserve material strength over time. Plastec also offers this model with options suitable for explosion-rated or variable-speed applications via VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), making it a robust choice in specialized industrial systems.
