Warranty Information
Motor WarrantyAll motors are covered by a one-year warranty from the date of shipment, provided by the motor manufacturer. If service is required during the warranty period, the motor must be taken to the nearest authorized motor service station. Failure to use an authorized service station may void the motor warranty. If you are unsure of an authorized service location, contact the factory for assistance. Installation, removal, re-installation costs, and any consequential damages are not covered.
Blower Housing Assembly WarrantyThe blower housing assembly is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of original shipment. Defective units or parts reported within this period may be replaced at the manufacturer’s option when returned to the factory with transportation prepaid by the sender.
ExclusionsThe following items are not covered by this warranty:
- Normal wear from heat, abrasion, or chemical exposure
- Damage from improper installation, incorrect electrical connections, or unauthorized alterations
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or abnormal operating conditions
- Lack of proper maintenance
- Transportation costs to and from the factory for warranty repairs
This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts as described above. The manufacturer is not responsible for installation, removal, or re-installation costs, nor for any consequential damages resulting from product failure or improper operation.

The Plastec Jet 20 XP is built for environments where both corrosion resistance and explosion safety are essential. Its airflow path, including the housing, impeller, and wetted surfaces, is constructed of heavy-duty polypropylene enhanced with HALS (Hindered-Amine Light Stabilizers) to resist UV degradation and withstand harsh chemical atmospheres. The “XP” variant uses carbon-impregnated polypropylene, which allows safe static dissipation and compliance in classified areas. The design isolates the motor from the airstream, preventing corrosive fumes from damaging motor components. Its integrated construction includes a weather hood and a drain plug that permit outdoor installation while protecting internal parts from rain and contaminants. With a noise level as low as 64 dB, it’s suitable for locations where acoustics matter. Because it’s direct-drive, there are no belts or pulleys to maintain, which improves longevity and reduces downtime.
Suitable Applications for Plastec Jet 20 XP Inline Blower
- Laboratories: Ideal for exhausting corrosive or chemical fumes from lab hoods and workstations while maintaining a safe air environment.
- Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants: Designed to handle moist and chemically aggressive air typically found in pump rooms and chemical storage areas.
- Chemical Processing Facilities: Perfect for ventilating vapors and gases produced during mixing, plating, or etching operations.
- Educational and Research Institutions: Used to safely exhaust fumes from laboratory classrooms, test chambers, and research spaces.
- Pharmaceutical and Biotech Industries: Ensures clean, contaminant-free air in production and quality control areas with sensitive processes.
- Food and Beverage Manufacturing: Provides odor and vapor control in environments requiring corrosion-resistant ventilation solutions.
- Coastal and Marine Environments: Performs reliably in salt-laden, humid air thanks to its polypropylene construction that prevents corrosion and degradation.
