Warranty Information

Motor Warranty

All motors are covered by a one-year warranty from the date of shipment, provided by the motor manufacturer. If service is required during the warranty period, the motor must be taken to the nearest authorized motor service station. Failure to use an authorized service station may void the motor warranty. If you are unsure of an authorized service location, contact the factory for assistance. Installation, removal, re-installation costs, and any consequential damages are not covered.

Blower Housing Assembly Warranty

The blower housing assembly is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of original shipment. Defective units or parts reported within this period may be replaced at the manufacturer’s option when returned to the factory with transportation prepaid by the sender.

Exclusions

The following items are not covered by this warranty:

  • Normal wear from heat, abrasion, or chemical exposure
  • Damage from improper installation, incorrect electrical connections, or unauthorized alterations
  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or abnormal operating conditions
  • Lack of proper maintenance
  • Transportation costs to and from the factory for warranty repairs
Limitation of Warranty and Liability

Durable Materials & Construction

The Storm 16 blower is designed for durability and corrosion resistance, even in the most demanding environments. Its entire air pathway, from housing to impeller, is made from injection-molded polypropylene, providing complete resistance to acids, chemicals, salt spray, and corrosion. For outdoor exposure and ultraviolet light, the polypropylene is reinforced with HALS (Hindered-Amine Light Stabilizers), ensuring improved UV protection and a longer service life. The forward-curved impeller is engineered to balance airflow with the ability to overcome resistance, making it ideal for ducted systems or installations with backpressure.

As a direct drive unit, the blower eliminates the need for belts, pulleys, or additional components, reducing maintenance and delivering reliable continuous operation.

Suitable Applications for Plastec Storm 16 Forward Curve Blower
