Fuel Adjustments: Choose natural gas or propane for the fuel source. Propane gas option (AA2) requires the addition of burner air shutters (AE2) on all models.
Elevation Adjustments: Adjust the unit’s configuration based on the installation’s elevation to help ensure safe and efficient combustion. In the U.S. – Options AB2-8 derated 4% for each 1,000 ft above sea level.
Material Upgrades: Options are available to upgrade the heat exchanger, burners, and drip pans to stainless steel. Which is recommended for high-moisture environment or applications with low inlet air temperatures. Factory installed air shutters (AE2) is required for propane fuel type models.
Advanced Gas Control Systems: Allows for tailored heating performance ranging from single stage or two—stage valves to sophisticated electronic modulation and multi-stage systems for precise temperature management.
Ignition and Access Preferences: Options to choose between standard spark pilots or versions with timed lockouts, and select whether the control access is located on the left or right side of the unit to fit the specific application.
Electrical and Voltage Options: The HRPD furnace can be configured to match the facility’s power supply with multiple voltage and phase options, including 115V, 208V, 230V, and 460V.
Enhanced Safety and Monitoring: Options to add specialized safety components such as high and low gas pressure switches, and air flow proving switches.

The HRPD is an outdoor commercial/industrial power-vented gas-fired dual duct furnace. Each HRPD unit consists of two model RP furnaces packaged together. If you have any further questions, feel free to give us a call!
Can the HRPD be installed on combustible surfaces?
Yes. The unit is certified for installation on a combustible surface when equipped with standard heater-mounting rails. If you have any further questions, feel free to give us a call!
How is combustion air supplied?
Combustion air and flue gas openings are located on the side of the unit above the control access panel.
The flue opening is positioned above the air intake to discourage recirculation of combustion products. If you have any further questions, feel free to give us a call!
Where can these units be installed?
They are designed for outdoor mounting and include a corrosion-resistant Galvalume® cabinet and a curb cap base. If you have any further questions, feel free to give us a call!
Where should the flue discharge be directed?
Power-vented furnaces should be located so that the flue discharge is not directed at fresh air inlets to prevent the recirculation of combustion products. If you have any further questions, feel free to give us a call!
