75,000 BTU, 80% AFUE

This Rheem furnace provides an input of 75,000 BTU and delivers 80% efficiency. That means 60,000 BTU of usable heat goes directly into your home while the remaining 20% is vented as exhaust. All 80% AFUE furnaces require metal venting. If you prefer PVC venting, a 90%+ AFUE model would be necessary. Out of the box, the unit runs on natural gas, but it can be converted to propane with an LP kit (sold separately). Please note that this furnace is not certified as Low NOx or Ultra Low NOx and may be subject to restrictions in California.

Warranty

Rheem backs this furnace with a 10-year limited parts warranty and a 20-year heat exchanger warranty. For the warranties to remain valid, the system must be registered with the manufacturer within 90 days of installation and installed in compliance with local and state codes.

Installation and Durability

This Rheem furnace can be installed in upflow and horizontal configurations. Its low profile 34-inch height makes it ideal for most space-constrained installations. Please note: this furnace is not intended for mobile home use.
